Stratus Cervical Spine Plate

US patent pending, the Stratus Cervical Spine Plate features the following

• Low profile titanium cervical plate system

• Semi-constrained rotational system

• Unique one-step locking mechanism

• No need for separate anti-backout locks

• Accurate drilling and screw placement through threaded nuts

• Built-in screw stopper prevents bone stripping due to over tightening of
screw

 

The Key is the geometry of the rotating nut and the slot. Since both are shaped like cylinders with spherical ends, each complementary to the other, they cause interference to each other and the nut is captured inside the plate.
